    I am getting crazy trying to identify this power utility and disabling it.
    I installed win7 on my sz, and somhow this utitliyt came in (seems like part of intel mobile display driver), but it is super annoying as whenever I change power settings, this window pops up and stays on top for several minutes. What is it?, any ideas how to disable it will be higly appriciated.

    Have you tried looking into graphics properties to see if you can adjust it from there.

    Interesting that you are seeing that on a SZ. That is part of Hybrid Graphics/Hybrid Power and on newer notebooks with the technology it shows which mode/gpu they have switched to on the fly.

    If you are comfortable in the registry you can add "DisableUI" with "1" under the Nvidia Software Hybrid area:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Hybrid]
    "DisablePowerPolicy"=dword:00000001

    If you are not comfortable editing the registry you can run the registry file I have posted: Hybrid Power - Disable.reg

    Shouldn't the question be "Why is this even here?" Rather than "How do I get rid of the display?". All you have done is treated the symptoms, while ignoring the "disease". If this display is not supposed to be here, I'd want to know why it is and fix THAT. Otherwise, who knows how it might come back to bite you latter.
