Hi, I'm facing issues with my LCD screen. I have no clue what happened. I don't remember spilling water. I used the laptop in the night, switched it off like everyday. The next morning, I turn it on and this is what I get on screen. I have attached screen shot. The image 'spreads' on monitor when I press it with finger.

I assumed water must have got in somehow. I dried it under the sun and also with hair dryer. No luck. Or could something be wrong with display settings? There are no other issues with my laptop.

It is really really very annoying to use this laptop with that thing on my screen. Please help.

    Thank you.

I can't see any image attached, but chances are if the "water" is a black or purple colour that you may have cracked your laptop's screen. Could you please reupload the photo and also please mention the model of your laptop e.g. VPCZ117GG

If you let water get in the LCD, you have nearly no way to clean it.
You can take the LCD panel apart completely, but reflective and filter sheets could be damaged.
Sorry for saying this, but you are facing LCD replacement.
