    Hi there,

Last Christmas I bought a Sony VAIO VPCCW1S1E laptop. Since the beginning that I noticed the presence of subtle vertical lines in the shadow areas of the images, on the LCD screen. This is independent of the resolution and not present when, for example, a text document is displayed.

Did any of you ever experiences this? Is this a "normal" artefact of the LCD technology or do I have a defective device?

Thank you for your contributions, regards,

    AP
