    Hi all,

My screen cracked :( . Turns out puppies like to sit on them...

I am going to replace the screen rather than replace the laptop. I am using Sony VAIO model VPC-EB190S, and it was purchased in summer 2010. I have no idea if it is an LED screen or a CCFT though.

I'm reluctant to take it apart to find out since I will need to order one online. It still works (for now) and I use it at my job daily, so I'd rather not take it apart until I have the replacement screen in hand.

Does anyone know if this model uses LED or CCFT?

    Thanks!

I think it's rather LED backlit, because all new notebooks models is equipped with LCD with LED backlit (E-series is quite new series)
