I'm assuming the HD3000 and PMD's video card have separately configurable (and correctable) LUTs.

The idea would be to calibrate the PMD's card to an attached display, the the HD3000 to the laptop's screen. Anyone have any experience doing this?

    Thanks all!

You can control this right from the ATI software. Just change the setting to "allow additional displays" or something like that. This will let the PMD run devices attached to it and the HD3000 run the internal panel.

Once you do that, you can calibrate the color for the external displays with the ATI s/w and use the intel software for the internal panel.

    Does this answer your Q?

I think so. I use a third part colorimeter to calibrate. I believe, as you describe it, that I should be able to attach a separate profile to each card, and this have properly calibrated laptop and free-standing monitor running different profiles.
