I have a Sony VAIO that i purchased roughly a year ago. The motherboard was recently replaced and otherwise it has had no problems. Before it was even replaced, however, whenever I would play Minecraft my computer after a few minutes would and still goes black. I am unable to hit ctrl alt del, the sound cuts out, the computer refuses to do anything until i power it off which I hate doing because I don't want to end up crashing my harddrive.

One thing I have noticed, however, is that it will not do it while the laptop is not plugged in and running on battery life, only when I have to plug it in. I tried turning down the graphics and everything in the game all to no luck. Does anybody have any ideas to fix this problem? Thank you for any feedback!
