Sony VAIO S VPCSA290X (2011) Review - Configurations, Software, & Verdict
Any thoughts? Is this pretty accurate to what everyone else is seeing?

The review seems alright. Some things stood out to me however:
Don't know how he got this number but my SA boots up in less than 20 seconds. Less than 15 if from hibernate (and that's to full desktop control).
This can be faster if it was a SSD IMO.
An autodetect test and then a native resolution test? Really? Autodetect can set settings all over the place, there is not 1 consistent variable for that test, and the native res just skews the FPS since the native resolutions can be different. The test is VOID.
With Stamina or Speed mode on? Why not test and show results for both?
It's an extra flat, high capacity battery. What did they expect it to weight?
The hinge is a bit loose, the speakers are a bit lack-luster but it's a fantastic laptop. -
7450M Graphics? From that moment on I knew the review is no good. My dad's SB boots up in 18 seconds from hibernate with the 7200rpm HDD, and roughly 48 seconds from shutdown. The reviewed model uses a 5400rpm drive so it's definitely going to lag quite a bit.
