Hey guys and gals,
I'm hoping that someone can help me with my problem.
For about the past two months i have had problems running my FE-790 on the battery. Like, i can have the laptop plugged in and then unplug it to move around and after a little time it will just completely turn off. It wont even power down or give me any warning messages, just completely turn off. There is also no rhyme or reason to how long it will run on the battery. Sometimes it is for like 30 min or others for 5 min. It can be at 80% or 30%. It is really weird.
I called Sony and they of course had no idea what was going on. So, they sent me a new battery to see if that would work. It didn't. I'm desperate now. If i can't figure it out on my own then i will have to send in my laptop and i can't do that right now cause i need it for school.
Please help!

It looks like either a faulty contact on the notebook, or the wirings for the battery is messed up on the motherboard. Either way, you'll need to send the whole notebook in to get fixed.
