    Laptop Shutting Down at start up?

    Hey ppl my latop is shutting down at start up in like a 1 min and 30 secs not even giving me enough time to format my laptop......i also tried in save mode but did not help....even entred the bios option but got shutdown.....also the fan is spinning fast....i also cleaned the fan and applied new thermal paste but the same problem occurs....did check my ram and hard disk too....am i missing anything...is this a hardware issue or.?...this is really frustrating :mad: ...any help will be grateful! thanks

    Does your BIOS let you see the voltages for the CPU etc.? Do you get similar results on AC power and on battery?
