    Hi guys,

My trusty ol' Sony Vaio FW190 bit the dust. Worked fine one day, dead the next.

It appears that there's no power. Lights that indicate power or charging (or anything) don't light up. I've tried a different/spare battery, but nothing. I tried it without any battery at all (just plugged in) but still nothing. The little green light on the power adapter does light up, so I don't think that's the problem either.

    Any thoughts? Suggestions? Recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

    :)

    Remove battery and charger.
Press and hold power button for at least 20 seconds.
Then try power on again with battery or charger in.
This step is standard when you call Sony CSC.

I was afraid that might be the problem. Any other opinions?
