    Hey

I was watching videos on youtube and talking to a friend of mine and my laptop suddenly froze, the music from youtube continued playing but everything else just stopped, then it all suddenly went black and I was greeted with a little blue screen of death, It happened so sudden and so quick I was unable to read the error code, I do recall seeing "dumping physical memory" and it counting down and then the laptop restarted itself, I ran S.M.A.R.T to see if my hard drive is failing and it passed, I also ran disc check and is restarted normally. the laptop has been running fine the past couple hours.

Is this sort of thing normal? It's never happened to me before. Do you think I should send my laptop in while its still got a month warranty left? does this happpen sometimes?

Answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It was probably a graphics driver stack crash. It happens every once in a while with ATi/nVidia drivers. That's why servers usually have integrated or no graphics card, as it always causes a halt at one point or another. I wouldn't worry about it.
