Another little annoying "glitch" or maybe not?

    My problem is the following:
If I leave my computer to idle (maybe playing music) for some time with a bluetooth mouse under AC supply, I find that I can move the courser with the touchpad but I can't click on anything.
If I press Ctr,Alt,Entf to enter the taskmanager the mouse reacquires its full "potential" the moment the "greenish screen" comes up in Vista.

Is this my laptop switching off the touchpad to save power or what?

I would appreciate help with this little "issue", however, as you may guess, it is not vital.

    Thanks for any replies.

    All the best.
    Detlev

could be that your touchpad driver interfere with your mouse driver?

Possible, however I doubt it... especially as its a Sony mouse.
    (But one never knows)

I've noticed something else, the touchpad aquires its full capabilities when i press one of the buttons...

So I hope its just saving power.

Thank you for the suggestion though! :)
