I've had this Z13 for nearly 2 years now, and now it's finally giving up on me. Windows 8 pro.

I can boot and login, it loads up my desktop as usual, then shuts down within 1 minute. I try again immediately after, it only takes 10 seconds after login to shut down.
I left it for a few hours then tried leaving it in the bios menu, it does the same thing but shuts down in 2 minutes instead of 1.

It does this with both the laptop on battery only, and the laptop plugged in with AC. When i'm able to get to desktop the battery is at 75% and charging on AC.
I have core temp installed and when I can get to the desktop the temperatures seem fine (~40-45 C) so I don't think its an overheating issue.

Any possible solutions for this before I send it off to sony repair? (this isn't ideal as I need my laptop pretty urgently)

    Thanks guys for any help

    1. fan dead or needs lubrication
    2. air passages blocked - needs cleaning
    3. thermal paste kaput - needs changing

search for the thread - change thermal paste.
