    I have a VPPCZ122GX, I5, windows 7,

For the past couple of days, when I hibernate my computer (I usually have chrome and microsoft word open), my computer starts itself up in the middle of the night. The only way to shut it down is if i force push the power button because its a black screen. The fan is on when I see it in the morning. What can be the problem?

Try changing your disabling your wake timers in power settings.

Power Options -> Sleep -> Allow Wake Timers -> Disable.

Ok, I'll see if that works, but this never happened before, and only started occurring a few days ago. Why would it suddenly do this?

No, i did not. And when it starts itself up, it appears just a blank screen with the fan running.
