    Latest Vista update makes VAIO Power Management hang...

    It makes it hang at startup, right after the login screen, I get the "Welcome" screen, and then the screen goes black. I can see the mouse, and if I wait about a minute, the desktop shows up.

    Any ideas how to fix this?
    I don't have System Restore turned on :( and my most recent backup was too long ago...


    (I know it's because of VAIO Power Management because I checked the Event Viewer, and tried uninstalling it. That worked, but after I reinstalled it, it hangs again.)

    Just updated my Vaio Z. No problem so far.
