    Lesson* Learned

When a new laptop is released, wait at least 1 month or even less and I bet Sony will lower its price or have some good offer. Sure enough, when i bought my FZ as soon as it came out, i was ****ed when I saw it a week later for 50 bucks cheaper base price PLUS free upgrade of somesort (Ram or hdd i forgot).

Now with the SR...One month later exactly from when i pre-ordered I could have gotten the same configuration PLUS 1 GB free of ram PLUS office student or w/e for FREE all for 260 dollars less.

Well I learned my lesson. I really wanted the laptop asap to get it ready for school and I wanted to a enjoy a new laptop before school started, but for 200+ dollars and free upgrades...I would have waited 20 something days. Jeesh.

This is not whining or complaining but simply my experience from buying laptops from sony. I don't ever recall such drastic and sudden savings from Dell before when i used to purchase from them.

Hmm.. wonder if i should return this laptop and re-order, hah!

If you're still in your return period you can probably ask Sony to give you the difference back.
