I don't even feel I need one, the thing runs so cool by itself plus I have the extended battery which raises it up so it has plenty of air underneath.

But do people think I should get one anyway?

BTW -- though I started a thread a while back complaining about SONY customer service -- and it still sucks -- even the item that the thread was written about, SONY managed to screw up a few more times and waste my time -- however - I ABSOLUTELY love my Z.

Unfortunately for my colleagues, the school will only pay for Dell products -- and so all of them ordered various Dells.

The Z however was definitely worth paying for out of my own pocket. :)

You don't need one really but I've been using a Coolermaster notepal U1.

They also have a bigger one which is the U2.
