This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Why are the Vaios in the US sold with Li-Pol batteries, and elsewhere (UK, AUS) are sold with Li-Ion batteries? Are there any differences in terms of battery memory etc? My understanding was that Li-Ion was better than Li-Pol batteries in terms of battery memory and etc... Correct me if I'm wrong
