I am trying to find the latest Broadcom Bluetooth drivers for Windows 8 that support ALPS-UGPZ9-BCM2046

    Code:
    USB\VID_044E&PID_3017
I found this one (02/02/2012,12.0.0.0010) on the Microsoft Update Catalog but its a bit old

    Microsoft Update Catalog

I also found this driver, its more recent but its not WHQL (its 04/05/2012,12.0.0.0050 BETA signed by Broadcom)

    http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/utils/Bluetooth_6512700_Win8.zip

If anybody knows where to find a current Windows 8 driver I would really appreciate it

wow, thanks again.i tried the previous version and it's working fine.
    Have you tried the v12.0.0.4900?

because it is listed as supporting 2070/20702, not 2046. I don;t know if it;s a driver package that suits all

I am running a vaio fw series laptop

If you extract it and look in the \LD folder you will find the "legacy device" driver that supports our old bluetooth hardware, its the same version as the Lenovo. Only changes in 12.0.0.4900 are the software and a drivers (bluetooth audio, etc) in the root folder were updated, \LD driver is the same

And yes, I am using v12.0.0.4900 with my VAIO LV series

First of all sorry for my bad English. I download Bluetooth driver downloader from broadcom site and installed it. The installer recognized my bluetooth device and began to download specific driver, but during downloadin unexpected system standby occured and downloadin failured. I tried again but the downloader not recognized the device this time, and said "bluetooth not pluged in".Now I can not install driver.
