Read any Z series review. I have a Z11 that is running Windows 7, which esentially makes it a "51".

If you want my opinion, the Z series is arguably the best laptop you can buy ;)

Thanks for sharing your experience. Despite the price, I'm pretty sure this laptop will be great.

Well go through the Z series forum. You'll find that the screen is its biggest weakness. Not its actual display (which is gorgeous), but the physical side of things. The lip between the keyboard area and wrist pad tends to leave a mark on the screen. Also, the screen flexes, so unless you do something to keep it protected from both sides, you'll have blotchy marks appearing in the display over time.

So, although its a great laptop, you need to use something between lid and the keyboard area (piece of cloth) to keep the screen protected, as well as possibly investing in a hard case to carry your laptop around in. I recommend Vaio Smart Protection. Its been working really well for me.

I've had my Z11 for a year and have never had anything between the keyboard & screen. Still looks as good as the day I got it...

I had a vaio Z and it immediately developed permanent keyboard marks on the screen. Within about a month. I put it in a laptop bag, too. But perhaps too many books really caused the problem. That said, I have never developed this issue with other brands, but that screen is just so wonderfully vibrant.
