I have the hybrid graphics and I can't find a Windows 7 x64 driver for it. I've got everything else working, but I had to use the Vista driver for video. Any advice?

Well, I could recommend that you actually use the search function... or even better just read the title of the threads on page one... which would definitely lead you to what you are searching...

But since I believe that everyone should get help even without using proper forum etiquette:

This is the thread you are looking for. Read post N°2. It has all drivers and instructions for the Z and Win7 64bit.
Make sure that you update to the proper bios before using the latest video drivers...

And while I appreciate the lecture about forum etiquette, I have read all the threads and tried that driver. (I wouldn't have posted my request otherwise). When I install it half of my screen turns black, and on the half that displays anything I get a test pattern on half of that, and a shrunk screen on that.

Have you installed the latest Bios which is required and metioned on sonys webistes and in other posts? You also need to uninstall the old driver + the old event driver and then you can install the new nvidia driver together with the new event driver and everything should work fine.

I have tried both the drivers listed in the other post as well as ones for the Z850 to no avail. I have installed all the system utilities listed, and started with a fresh install of Windows 7.

As far as I can see, the only thing that doesn't work with the Windows Vista drivers is the screen brightness in Speed mode, which I can live without.

    I've learned two lessons here:
    Windows System Restore rocks.
    Sony sucks.

jersey72 can you post a screen grab of
the BIOS version listed under the Summary Portion of 'System Information'

    let's make sure that it's 'INSYDE R4043M3'

That's E-Me for those of you scoring at home (or even if you're alone). I had downloaded the new BIOS update from Sony's site when they first posted it which is what I thought I needed. That took it to R4041M3, not R404*3*M3.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I take back half the bad things I said about Sony.

eh. don't feel so bad jersey. I did the same... nearly lost my head this weekend.
would be helpful next time to be more specific with what you're having trouble with... listing driver versions... if you had followed a particular procedure etc.

But yeah that BIOS ver. is a major "gotcha".

And I should know better. I made the classicly wrong assumption that I had done everything right but was still having problems.
