I've searched the CR series owner's thread and the rest of the forum but everything is in bits and pieces. Is there a step by step guide some on this forum for installing Windows 7 on CR series that I may have missed? Thank you for any suggestions to a solution.

I'm basically trying to get the AV buttons and FN keys to work, everything else seems to be detected by Win7.

For the Fn keys and the AV mode button, you need to install the following Win 7 compatible Sony utilities/ drivers in the order mentioned.
    1. GPU Driver
    2. Sony shared library
    3. SFEP driver
    4. Setting utility series
    5. Vaio event service
    6. Vaio Launcher (compatible with your model)
    7. Vaio Control center

Thanks coolguy, would you happen to know what Mass Storage Controller refers to under Device Manager?

Mass storage controller refers to the memory card controller.
