I am looking for a recommendation for a 37" 1080P monitor /TV that will work correctly at 1080P using HDMI. I have both a Z590 CTO with the NVIDIA 512 video and an F290 CTO with the 512 ATI and both dont sync correctly using HDMI at 1920 X1080

My z570 works just fine over HDMI with a 47" Samsung 850series TV. Quality is great, just like any blu-ray, since it's the same resolution (1920x1080). The only thing I do is to enable a secondary display, via Display Properties(windows), at the proper resolution. Nothing else to do.
Make sure you have the drivers installed on your laptops, even the audio drivers have something to do with HDMI (I saw a couple services that say they keep the HDMI in order).

I love plasma for the deeper blacks and better contrast ratio's than LCD. (real contrast not dynamic).

Panasonic makes affordable plasma's, Pioneer the best looking.

PS. any Full HD TV with HDMI should work fine with the Z.

I just purchased a new 37" Sony Bravia 1080P and it works perfectly. Much clearer txt than the LG or Samsung

I think you need to find a tv which supports 1:1 pixel mapping,

Your are correct the Sony Bravia line supports 1:1 pixel mapping and that is how I got it to work. The other manufacturers and models I mentioned did not.
