If you want a nice but less expensive case, look for portable DVD player cases.

Just to let yall know I ended up getting the one posted below. Its about 50-75% of the price of anything else on ebay, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Also the interior dimensions seem to be a better fit versus some of the higher priced ones. I'l post my results when I get it in.

I got my Zeroshock case in yesterday. And I must say I am impressed with it. The sidewalls are made of some memory foam deal and its pretty sturdy, even when the computer isnt in there. My only gripe is that the cloth on the outside may snag after years and years. But I think I can deal with that. I am currently looking for excuses to tote my T350 around. :p

I'll weight it when I get the chance on a postal type scale. But the weight of the case is pretty insignificant in my opinon. It protects the comptuer pretty well, when I put it in my backpack sometime I find dents in the foam but those dissappear after a few minutes.

Thank you in advance for taking the trouble of weighing it when you'll find a scale.

I've ordered the Viper XXS from Booqbag for my VAIO TX610:
    http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=426
The Apple folks swear by it for their 12" Powerbooks: won't be as snug a fit for the T series though, but can look at the internal dimensions quoted on their website.

Portable DVD player cases work well, have slots for CD's and sections for accessories. Cheap too, can get a good one for under 25.00.

check semsons.com under notebook cases (accessories) and youll find a couple for laptops under 14 inches.

theyre a decent store that not a lot of people know about
