I'm looking into the E and T series models, current gen, Sony laptops but I haven't read many thorough reviews outside of this and I'm not quite sure how thorough that is. The general perception is that it's a dandy Ultrabook but the E-series have been completely devoid of any solid info.

I'm wondering about a few things:

What's the build quality like in comparison to the Thinkpad Edge e430? The Edge is cheaper but it lacks the higher res display and the optional discrete GPU.

Is there going to be a Trinity model ultrathin for the T (or equivalent) and E series? It would likely be a bit bigger than an Ultrabook for the T but maybe it can fit an A10-4655m in there sort of like the envy sleekbook.

How is Sony with respect to Linux support? Would I have any hardware compatibility issues if I were to run Ubuntu? I know Sony is not exactly FOSS friendly and I'm wondering if this translates into their support on laptops, more specifically the touchpad on the E series and it's lack of left and right click. Would the E series touchpad work on Linux?
