    Hello members

I'm a proud owner of VAIO S460 and now I want to upgrade my laptop..

I would like to get SZ Series, but i have no clue which series to get..

What's the difference between SZ650 and SZ 640?

    Also T8100 VS T7500.. T8100 is 2.1 GHZ and T7500 is 2.2GHZ... T7500 seems more faster, but why lower number (7500 < 8100) ?

Thanks guys.. any recommendation would be great

Because the T8100 is a 45nm Penryn processor, and should outperform the 65nm T7500.

Personally, I would suggest you go for the 780.

It looks as though that Sony has made a pricing error, as its current price is extremely low!

It's got the carbon fiber case, and penryn processor. The 2.1 8100 will outperform the 2.2 7500.

It is up to you though, as the only real difference is the processor...

The best place to buy IS Sonystyle! It has the best if not only pricing available for the 780 right now! Get it before they raise the price :).

Except for the silver keyboard (I ordered black) that's the exact same configuration I just ordered. From sonystyle.com. Seems like a pretty good price for what you get, the beefy cpu and carbon fiber case, nice form factor, solid keyboard, great display.

The 780 is indeed a premium model with the carbon fiber frame.

Sony vendors will probably have the 780 for a cheaper price, try www.newegg.com before ordering.

There's really isn't a "best" type of memory. Regarding the one in the link, no need to buy 800MHZ RAM, because Sony down clocks it to 667MHZ. Look on Buy.com, they usually have better deals compared to Newegg especially when used with the $10 Google checkout discount.
