They also had this black CR at Best Buy for $999 but now it's back to $1249 :(.

Let me tell you what I want this laptop for!

MS Word documents - a LOT of info saved in word for school
    PowerPoint presentations
Gaming (Medieval II Total War, AOE III so I need a good graphics card that wont shutdown the system when I try to run a game!!!!!!!!)
Internet connect ability to wireless, I surf the web constantly
Be able to run things like Photo shop CS quickly, stuff like that
Most Importantly - watching movies and dvds I watch movies on my computer all the time and I will be taking them with me to college. Also all of my dvds like my scrubs collection and south park collection. I want the Xbrite screen for that right?

and just basic computing stuff like multi tasking (have aim and word and internet and calculator all up at the same time etc)

I already posted in the What Laptop should I get part of the forums but I thought I could go here since this is exclusive to Sony.

Also, here are a few more questions:
I can get MS Office 2007 free, would it work fine with Vista? Vista comes stock on the Sony right? Or is it still XP?

Also, what is this about bloatware? Is it easy to uninstall? I have also heard about "fresh install Vista" or something. What is that and how do you do it???

    Thanks in advanced!!!

    Dustin

How well do you want to run Total War? If you're fine with it being on med-low settings playable, it opens up your options a lot and gives you the chance to get laptops with better battery life/weight, as well as being cheaper.

Well I want Total War to run on it's highest setting, or at LEAST medium, and I want it to run fast.
