I decided to call em to see if I could get some in case mine ever fell off...

They said they are NOT covered under warranty, and for the life of them they couldnt find the part number. They asked me for another description of "rubber feet"

Are you effin kidding me??? Then he asked if it came with my computer, or if it was something I had put on myself. wtf? Uhhh....

Oh well... maybe someone has the part number or a phone number of someone who isnt retarded?

    Funny call none the less

Who did you call exactly? "Sony" encompasses a LOT of phone numbers.

Call them. If they don't have it, then you're going to have to go and get a 3rd party version. It's a horrible site to navigate but they list a lot of parts. Unfortunately, the descriptions for the items are EXTREMELY vague and they rarely show pictures. I've called them before asking if they could send me a decal that was supposed to come with a previous VAIO I bought but they couldn't find it so I was out of luck. They're nice people though. (I think they're based somewhere in the midwest...the lady I spoke with had a southern accent.)

Not sure if you care about the color or shape. But when one of my Dell's D600 rubber feet fell off, I found something like it at Lowe's (or Home Depot). They are in the same section as the felt tabs and adhesives. It was clear with an adhesive bond but I didn't care as long as it didn't wobble and it was even the same height.

$1.99 fix w/o the hassles of CS.

They look kind of like this:

I spoke with 3 different places/people (transfered back and forth many times). Warranty dept, parts sales, and then a higher level sonystyle parts. The first parts lady sounded like she was from the midwest, but the rest of them spoke very poor english.

Edit: I ended up calling dynamism where I bought my TZ and luckily they had some in stock. $3 ea though. I bought 2 just in case I lose em.

Haha, another person who freaks out when the rubber feet fall off, like me! :p

Dynamism now stocks them because I ordered like four of them a few months back. They told me they were $5 each, but ended up shipping me three for free (probably because I bought two TZs from them).

One foot fell off this NYE from the standard battery, but I found it and quickly stuck it back on. Anyone have any recommendations as to what glue to use to keep it attached more securely?
