This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Lost newtork icons in Vista on SZ4

    After installing AVG antivirus and setting up Outloo both of which are now working well - I have lost the icons for Network connection and speed as well as another one which is not there now - how can I put these back to the bottom left hand side bar on screen \/

    If you mean the icons in the notification area/systray, you can try right clicking the taskbar, selecting Properties, and clicking the Notification Area tab. Under System Icons there is checkboxes for showing/hiding clock, volume, network and power icons.
