This month i had made a thread on here about the 770 and the 790. since the 790 was the best laptop sony had on there website and it was the newest and the most expensive one on the site for 17 inch. i had asked them when is the new models coming in. they told me not for a while. so today i am on there website and what do i see??? for the same price $3299 a new model AR890U

Alright all this has extra is the 500GB right? I still did not get mine in the mail. could i return it and trade it in for the newer one once i get it?

    Thanks, Phantom

Call them as said couldn't hurt, maybe they will give you a discount. Much depends on their policy. As far as asking when future models coming out? Well that is info that is not shared. And in your case that did not happen. I know the timing and all is what frustrates you but well get used to it. If it had been 1 week after you got it would that of been better? A month? Technology get used to it.

I do understand your individual displeasure as I have experienced the same and worse, faster CPU's and better GPU's. But what you might want could create an impossible business model. We know what impossible business models lead to? No business. Consider that.
