    Hello All,

    I purchased the Belkin Wireless Pre-N-Router with MIMO technology and I would like to use the "MAC address control" setting.

    Unfortunately I am unable to locate the MAC or IP address.

    Please help

    hi felipe,

    this doesn't have anything to do with the model of your laptop. But if you're using Windows XP, this information can be found by opening a Command-line window (i think it's in accessories in the start menu) and then by typing 'ipconfig /a' without the quotes.

    You should get the IP and MAC addresses of your network/wireless card

    1. Click on the Start button and select Run.

    2. Type the following: command

    3. Click on OK.

    4. At the command prompt, type: ipconfig /all

    5. The information will appear under Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection. Under this section, there will be an item listed as Physical Address. The combination of twelve letters and numbers shown next to the Physical Address is the MAC address.
