    Hi,

    I am just after buying a european version of the Sony Vaio VGN-FS315M Laptop.
    The 1st thing i always do with my laptops is rebuild them using the OEM Op Sys. I rebuilt the sony anyway with Xp Pro, service pack 2 & have noticed annoying issues with it.
    Firstly it will not even recognize the modem in the device manager & will not accept the driver.
    I also have installed the sound driver & the sound still does not work.
    Could any expert out there tell me am i doing anything wong. No point ringing Sony Vaio help line as they would prob not support me.
    Surely there is a way around this, otherwise the laptop is of no use to me, basically cause sony have destroyed their own Op Sys with all the crap bundled software?
    Ah well, what can you do only grin & bare it,

    Any suggestions are very welcome.....
