Wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

I got a new laptop on wednesday, everything seemed fine at first, connected to my wireless network on my other PC.

But then a program called Windows Defence kept on popping up imploring me to register, and I also started getting blue screen errors which would end up restarting my PC.

I used the system restore to take it back to the earliest point in the laptops life.

Upon the restore things seemed to be better, but upon using Utorrent another program started to interfere called Security Suite, now whenever I try to use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome I get an error saying "Internet Explorer Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!" it even then brings a website up asking me to buy this so called Security Suite.

This only seemed to happen when I start using Utorrent. Is this some malicious spyware that somehow got on my computer, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul

I think Security Suite is a malware.

Try Malwarebytes. Install, update, reboot in safe mode and run a full scan.

I would suggest getting uTorrent from uTorrent themselves; if you got it anywhere else, it's most likely an utorrent.exe which also acts as a backdoor opener for other malware / spyware.

I would STRONGLY recommend you restore your machine to factory state using the recovery discs (assuming that you making the recovery discs is the first thing you did when you took your new machine out of the box).
Malware today are increasingly sneaky; I've heard horror stories where malware got onto the hidden recovery drives on OEM machines...

Anyways, that SECURITY SUITE is malware. They bug the hell out of you to buy false software (DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING IF ANYTHING RELATED TO IT COMES UP).

And another classic example as to why I don't use System Restore; I consider it a waste of time since viruses are transfered with the restores, there's no ifs or buts to it. And since I don't have wee children using my machine deleting files and whatnot, why should I...?

Yeah, I find System Restore useless as well.
