    I'm interested in the Sony FW298...but I wanna be ABSOLUTELY certain whether the Full HD screen is matte or glossy. So far, the only pictures I've seen of it are glossy :( Can someone confirm? If it's only available in glossy, I'm gonna be let down!

    Apple failed me with their new glossy crap. Dell's workstation line doesn't have blu-ray drives. Looks like I'll be doing the waiting game a bit longer.

    I think it has matte screen and blu ray

    Just buy a Nushield matte screen protector. My wife's Toshiba has a mirror-like screen and I bought a matte protector for her ($20). Now, the screen looks like a vintage matte Thinkpad screen!

    Personally, I don't mind glossy screens.

    The z uses a matte display and it also has a higher resolution than the MBP, which is 1600x900. You can also get this machine with bluray.
