I know many people have said they upgraded their ram past the "2gb limit" to 3gb or some even 4gb on a Intel GL960 chipset...but has anyone successfully upgraded their ram above 2gb with the GL960 on a Sony Vaio, or even more specifically the VGN-NR140E, or any VGN model? I'm asking because I want to upgrade past the limit, but I don't want to waste my money if it won't work, and if someone can let me know if it worked on their Sony Vaio (should have similiar BIOS) then I will be a bit more confident on my purchase. Thanks in advance! :D

Since this is a Sony-specifc question, I'm moving this to the Sony forum.

According to Sony my laptop (FZ15G) can only take 2GB of ram.

However, Kingston which offers a utility to determine how much ram you could have suggests that I could have up to 4GB. Have a look at what they say at http://www.kingston.com/
