    Memory Stick Formatter

    Why do I need Memory Stick Formatter to format a memory stick if I can just format it with built in format program that comes with Windows?

    It's called Windows. Right click on the drive and chose "format".

    What memory stick is that it's also a sony like a microvault.

    That's exactly my point. Why does Sony have to make a separate formatter program if I can just right click on the drive and format it?
