I tested a 1gb Memory Stick Pro(MagicGate) that has been sitting in my camcorder. I also tested a 2gb SanDisk mini (using the adapter) from my phone. Works with no problem. I noticed my mem widget showing more memory.

Used it in my Acer(sig) cardreader.

Being that I already have 2GB installed, I really didn't notice a Huge differ.
I guess I would need to benchmark.

I"m using my 1gb Pro Duo on it and it works fine. I noticed that its faster opening applications and when vista is loading from startup. My laptop by the way is a SZ-450.

I'm actually not using any USB Flash Drive, but instead I'm using a 1GB Sandisk SD card with ReadyBoost. I actually just found out about RB about an hour ago, so if anyone wants to share their experience of how much it makes a difference, I'd like to know!
