I purchased VAIO SE yesterday and with it came 'memory card adaptor'. I have no idea what that is for so could someone please explain? Also, my laptop has windows xp but I didn't receive xp cd? I mean am I not entitled to complain to the shop about this?

    I appreciate your help!

You should make the DVD or CD by yourself.

You can plug the memory card adaptor into the PC Express slot. That will enable you to plug SD and MMC cards into it, just like the Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot.

You don't get an XP CD with the notebook, but you can create the recovery CDs or DVDs using the Sony Recovery Tool
