As I was doing some light reading regarding the WWAN that is built into the US Z series models, I came across this:
http://www.millenicom.com/mobilebroadband/BYOD.htm
It says you can go month to month (read: no contract), pay $59.99/month (no tax because there are based off Oregon which they have no sales tax), and enjoy true unlimited internet (no 5GB cap on data), and it uses Sprint's already existing network.
Has anyone tried signing up for this? Seems like a pretty good deal except...$60 dollars a month is still a tad too expensive for me.
I have heard from multiple Sprint Reps and as well as read from other forums such as the popular HowardForums that this is a reliable company....but is it possible to activate the Sprint WWAN with them?

I think that you would have to e-mail or contact them with the data specs on the WWAN in the Intel wireless. They will be able to assist you further. That's what I've heard anyway.
The device in question has to be compatible with the Sprint network, but I heard that there were only certain devices that would be compatible with the Millenicom Wireless service on Sprint. (I think it's somewhere on their site, or it's mentioned on a broadband forum I frequent.) -

We cannot activate your laptop modem, only the ones that originate with us. Sorry!

Subject: Millenicom BYOD service with Vaio Z Built in Sprint Broadband modem
Hi,
Could you please confirm whether I could use the built-in wireless broadband modem (designed for Sprint, not activated) in my Sony Vaio Z for Millenicom service?
Thank you.
