This I am asking in terms of problems/issues.
(Off Topic: I have an IBM T43p and the Nokia PC Suite has never worked (bluetooth and data cable) with laptop, in the end I have given up. WM6 Activesync worked, but only via data cable, again, bluetooth never worked). I have owned a Samsung laptop many years ago and that never had any problems.

I am thinking of buying a Vaio. Model has not yet been decided. I usually change my mobile quite frequently. I change between Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Windows Mobile (HTC).

What problems/issues have Vaio users experienced in getting the PC Suites from various manufacturers to work?
What tips or guides can you offer?

I use the same phone brands as you do although it's been a while since my last Nokia. Right now i have a HTC P3300 and i'm coming from a SE K750i.

Syncing through usb with the SE app as well as with Windows active sync works without a problem on my Vaio (i don't use outlook or Windows mail btw), but i have the same problem with bluetooth. I'm not sure it isn't me though, my experience with bluetooth overall is that sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it just doesn't. Either with my laptop or when i try to connect from phone to phone. I pretty much gave up on that technology. My P3300 also has an onboard wifi card, but syncing through wlan also doesnt work. I do know that was a known issue with the older versions though, not sure if MS fixed it yet.

    Otherwise no problems here.
