I did a search for the following folders names and found no references on this forum:
    DE-DE
    Ja-JP
    ES-ES
It would appears that several of the sony applications include up to eleven different language help files. They don't take up alot of space about 7.5k per language. The only one that should be on the computer is the one that fits your language. EN-US is the english version.

P.S. a couple of the help files that are in the main directory are not english. Open the VCM Manager Setting file called VcmMgrSetting.chm. Its supposed to be the help file for this application. Its in chineese or japaneese.

best solution to get rid of this stuff:

    1. reformat and install windows cd
    2. get drivers from sony

see.... even if you do remove all the unwanted programs you'd still get registry information left behind regardless of removing programs with a special remover. this would take care of your multi-language help files situation.
