    The backlight fuse on Sony laptops is near the LCD cable connector on the mainboard. Could you take the photo of the area surrounding LCD connector please? Fuse might be on another side of the mainboard, meaning you will need to remove your mainboard from the top case (I am guessing you have your bottom case off right now). Also what is your laptop full model (from the bezel or near the serial number sticker).

    Thank you very much for your help. Please see attached, if its not there maybe I will have to unscrew the motherboard so that we can see the other side.

    The model is SONY VAIO SVE1512H6EW 15.6" LED .

    Hi,

    Sorry for taking a while. Your backlight fuse is the one labelled F4. It has white 'N' printed on the green background. The fuse is below your DC connector and on the left from LCD connector.

    I am checking (without electricity) with my multi meter on DCV and I get like 213 or 117 numbers, does this mean that is blown? all the other are 0.1 or 0.10 ?

    Please let me know asap
