    Mouse V270 with SZ Vaio?

    What are the extra funtions after Install the setpoint?
    Any help to install the setpoint for my SZ Vaio?

    Your mouse has extra button features that are not recognized by default. You need the SetPoint software to configure these buttons, if you want to use them. Installation should be as simple as popping in the CD and going through the install process.

    With the V270 it doesn't make any sense to use Setpoint. This is a regular mouse with the 2 buttons and scrollwheel. I would recommend not installing it since Setpoint is a piece of junk that can often crash, take up resources and many times just cause problems for no reason.

    if you were using a mouse like the MX1000 (which I use on my desktop) that has a gazillion buttons and features then Setpoint is a must but for the V270...I recommend staying away from it.

    Thank for ur recommendation! Without the setpoint, the speed of V270 is much faster than the Pointing Device.
