    Hi All,

Recently i installed a Microsoft 3000 mouse on my AR21S and everything was fine until i tried to use the mouse pad's scrolling feature ( to the right of the pad ) as now it doesnt work.

It seems like ive installed the mouse and the scroll features of that have taken priority over the actual pad's scroll feature

Does anyone know why its stopped working? Or how i can get it to work again still with the mouse installed so that if i dont use the mouse i can still scroll using just the pad?

    Thanks :)

First go to the mouse properties and find the advanced options for your touchpad (It's the case for Synaptics I don't know about the other models)
First disable/enable it, the mouse should come back.
There also should be a choice about disabling the touchpad when an external mouse is present. This might be what you want.

    Thanks Mujtaba!

Do you know where that option is?

When i go into mouse properties using control panel all it brings up is the properties box options for the new mouse. I havent got the laptop at the moment but im hoping its a case of using the system option when your in control panel?

    Thanks again

The mouse properties in control panel probably.(If you go to the hardware tab in mouse properties, it'll be the same as using system options)
Of it might also have a dedicated icon in the control panel for touchpad.
