Hi, I originally posted this in the Sony area, but then found this for software and thought I'd try here.
I have a VAIO VGN-FS980 laptop that I can connect to my HDTV in order to watch TV over the internet. I am able to watch Netflix and Hulu with no problems. However, all the major networks, ABC, CBS, etc., use the MoveNetworks Media Player to play Full Episodes. I can watch fine on my two desktop computers, which are both homebuilts (one of which is made out of pretty old spare parts that I had laying around). The player works fine on them, but not on my VAIO laptop. On the laptop, the player starts and plays fine until after the first commercial, then when "Continue" is selected, the video will freeze, the sound will play for a few seconds and then it just hangs. If I select pause on the control bar or try to move the video ahead or back, it does the same thing. I've tried all of MoveNetwork's support suggestions, but nothing works. I updated the video and sound drivers on the laptop, upgraded the RAM to 2GB, got rid of a lot of unnecessary VAIO programs and items running in the background with no joy. Still the problem persists. I just find it odd, that the player works fine on both my desktop computers but not on the laptop.
Has anyone had this problem and solved it? Thanks so much.

Try uninstalling the program completely with Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalling.
