    Moving abroad outside Sony overseas guarantee coverage

    I will move to Finland in a bit more than 4 weeks from Switzerland, atm I am oriented to buy a Sony Z series laptop that hopefully will be delivered in time for that date. What I am wondering is how to get support valid for my guarantee when I will be there if eventually I will face a problem? I have to send it back to Switzerland or Germany or there won't be any problem if I contact Sony Finland support? Unfortunately Sony overseas guarantee is only valable for a couple of countries, mostly english speaking one and all outside Europe.

    No one has had issues with their Sony laptop while abroad?

    My advice would be to email Sony directly about this - maybe Support in Finland if you can find a specific address for them? (I wouldn't ask anyone in sales...)
