    It seems some of the older Vaio's had a Multi-bay or Multi-function bay where you could swap out your optical drive and insert a second battery or hard disk. Does this still exist? I have an FW on the way and I cannot find any info. TIA!

    Nope. They only had it on the BX series notebooks, and that model has since gone end of life. Currently no VAIO has a multi-bay.
