I have a SONY VAIO PCG-F390 laptop and when I press the power button, it starts up, appears to go through POST, shows the SONY VAIO logo, then stops. I can then press CTRL-ALT-DEL and it appears to go through the POST again, shows the SONY VAIO logo again, then starts Windows normally.

Is this the way it is supposed to start up? Is there a way around pressing the CTRL-ALT-DEL key to get Windows to start? The problem is "not" within the Windows User settings, as I have already verified the CTRL-ALT-DEL requirement option is not checked.

    Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
