Same story as many here in terms of delivery time. Much longer than expected. However, once set up, I was getting multiple intermittent blue screen errors. After negotiating the maze of Customer Service levels, I was eventually granted the right to send it in for repair. They replaced the mother board (took about 10 days) and, so far, things have been great. Tremendous speed (compared to my former Dell 600) and great graphics. I run multiple graphics applications at the same time with ease, and can even, finally, play Battlefield 2, though it still chokes if you turn anti-aliasing on. As for the dreaded keyboard, my job does not require a ton of pure typing, but when I do use it, such as now, I cannot believe Sony shipped with this as-is. The backing of the keyboard seems to be softer from a to g and is actually firm around the L and ; keys.

Has anyone had any success with a replacement or solution to this disaster?

My keyboard is working fine. I really like it so far, apart from it being a little small compared to what I usually type on. Happy bunny me.
