    My 3470 thinks its a 3450?

    I have a mobility hd 3470 in my lappy and i tried modding the Catalyst 8.9 using MobilityModder and everything went fine, No errors whatsoever, But now when i look up my card in device manger it shows it as a hd 3450 when its really a 3470, Have i done something wrong,I used the desktop version as has been said in this forum, Any help please?

    Nope, that is what happens on everyones computers, AFAIK the only driver which correctly recognizes our GPU is sony's driver. IF you look in the details area of CCC, it still says it has the correct clock reading and GDDR3.

    There is thread based around the GPU(the 3470 gaming thread) on here, typically 3dmark scores went up with new mobility modder drivers regardless. Though, there is some dispute as to true performance gains, with some saying they had better gaming performance via the OEM drivers....

    That's because their isn't a HD 3470 for desktops and you're using a modded desktop driver
